Financial Controller

We are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing business in the media technology and broadcast solutions sector to recruit a talented Financial Controller. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to shape the finance function and contribute directly to strategic decision-making.

Description

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Manage statutory reporting, tax obligations, and external audit relationships

• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and policies

• Provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership, supporting business planning

• Monitor financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement

• Support inventory and asset management across multiple business units

• Drive process improvements and automation within finance systems

• Mentor and develop junior finance team members

Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience

• Strong technical accounting skills and commercial awareness

• Experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment

• Proficient in accounting software and Excel; ERP experience preferred

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to work independently

• Office based 5 DAYS a week.
