Financial Controller

A Family Office with a diverse portfolio of businesses is looking for a Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis. This is a stand-alone role working in a supportive and friendly working environment. Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for:

• Complete month-end and produce Management accounts and issue to the CEO with commentary monthly across several multi-judicial entities
• Managing accounting systems and all process/system changes.
• Support the CEO and company secretary in budgeting, forecasting and cash planning.
• Manage year-end accounts and annual audits, liaising with appointed auditors
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately processed in a timely manner.
• Complete and submit VAT returns and other ad hoc tasks.
• Bank Reconciliation and weekly cash planning.
• Manage all banking facilities and relationships.
• Liaise with budget owners at the end of each period and support cost control.

It is envisaged that the Financial Controller will possess the following skills:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with considerable PQE
• Previously worked in a Family Office or for an HNWI
• Experience of working in a business with entities globally
• Strong management/financial/transactional accounting skills
• Excellent communication skills
