Permanent vacancy: Financial Controller
Location: Watford (on-site)
Duration: Permanent

Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum

Hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

You’ll lead financial reporting, controls, and process optimisation across the business. You’ll work closely with the Group CFO and executive stakeholders, ensuring robust governance under UK GAAP, tax compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Control: Deliver accurate consolidated financials, manage audits, and ensure compliance with UK GAAP.
• Tax & Transfer Pricing: Oversee tax planning and compliance across jurisdictions, including VAT and intercompany pricing.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead group-wide budgeting, KPI alignment, and long-term financial planning.
• Performance Management: Provide insightful management accounts and analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Process & Systems Optimisation: Drive ERP improvements and enhance internal controls.
• Leadership: Mentor a geographically dispersed finance team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• 5+ years in a senior finance role, ideally in a multi-entity, international SME
• Strong UK GAAP knowledge and tax/transfer pricing experience
• Proven track record in financial process improvement and performance analytics
