Financial Controller

Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering with a large retail organisation based near Plymouth recruiting for a Financial Controller to join their fast-paced, high-growth business.

Salary: £75,000 to £85,000

This is a pivotal role within the finance function, offering the chance to lead on management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis. You’ll be partnering closely with teams across the business, providing strategic insights and driving financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts. Reviewing, understanding and challenging the figures
• Daily and monthly cashflow monitoring and analysis
• Forecasting, budgeting and modelling for the overall business and for specific areas or projects
• Finance business partnering with key teams throughout the wider business
• Identifying and implementing team and reporting efficiencies
• Analysis of all income stream performance data, giving recommendations on potential changes to maximise profitability
• Modelling and projecting the financial impact of proposed new business scenarios
• Sensitivity analysis of existing group profitability, proposing areas of opportunity and concern to focus on
