dnata are a global leader in the provision of catering, retail, travel and cargo services to the aviation industry, serving over 100 airlines and preparing over 120 million meals annually. The UK Catering division is the largest provider of in-flight catering and retail services in the UK.

A substantial element of their UK business is their pan-European joint-venture with a leading short-haul airline, which represents one of the largest outsourced retail programmes ever commissioned.

As a result of internal promotion, we now seek a Financial Controller to oversee this contract. It’s a hybrid role based between home and the Manchester office, with occasional travel to dnata HQ in Heathrow and the JV partner head-office in Greater London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to assume a prominent position across both businesses, serving key stakeholders in both dnata and the JV Partner. Operating within an open book contract, you would take charge of month-end processes, presentation of the P&L to the JV partner and balance sheet reconciliation.

You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) and provide a very strong blend of balance sheet control, people development, stakeholder management and operational acumen. ERP implementation experience would also be beneficial.
