Our client is a privately-owned business, a market leader in its field and with a reputation for excellence.

Reporting to the Managing Director the role is a key part of the senior management team.

You will be responsible for all aspects of finance, IT and HR, with involvement across the broader business.

Specific responsibilities will include

Financial reporting, both month end and annual
Forecasting and budgeting
Liaison with auditors
Commercial review and profitability analysis
IT

Potential candidates should ideally be qualified accountants, and could come from an industry or practice background.

Good technical accounting skills are taken as given. Good communication skills will be another given, coupled with a pragmatic down to earth approach.

It is envisaged that the basic salary will be in the £60,000 to £70,000 range plus discretionary bonus and 5% matched pension.
