Michael Page Finance have been retained by a leading high-end, Audio Visual company.

The business utilise the latest state of the art technology to create visually stunning audio and visual interiors for luxury real estate in the commercial and residential sectors.

As part of their growth, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller on a part time basis to lead finance. Reporting, value add, insights, wip and billing will form part of the role; a blend of business partnering and finance.

Description

The Financial Controller will be responsible for

• Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Lead and develop the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and projects.
• Manage cash flow and treasury functions to maintain financial stability.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Proven experience in financial management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyse complex financial data and present clear recommendations.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Offer

The Financial Controller is a part time position with FTE of £80,000-£85,000. The role is 3 days a week and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
