Financial Controller

CMC Consulting are partnering with a rapidly scaling SaaS business that is continuing to strengthen its team as part of its ambitious growth journey.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated finance professional who can play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s continued success. This individual will not only bring strong technical expertise but will also act as a strategic partner to the business, helping to shape financial processes, drive commercial decision-making, and ensure the finance team evolves in line with the organisation’s expansion.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations across multiple regions, covering a number of areas within the finance function.
• Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting, including forecasts and variance analysis, to provide leadership with clear financial insights.
• Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and tax advisors across relevant jurisdictions to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
• Support annual budget cycles and contribute to long-term strategic financial planning.
• Design and implement scalable financial systems, controls, and reporting tools, ensuring processes keep pace with business growth.
• Manage core financial processes including banking, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and employee expense reporting.
• Drive process improvement through automation and adoption of new financial tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Skills & Experience :

• Proven experience within a similar role and industry
• ACA / CA fully Qualified with relevant post qualification experience
• Exposure to UK & US accounting standards
• Strong Excel and systems skills
