Financial Controller

A leading independent wealth and investment manager looking to hire a Financial Accountant into their growing finance team.

This is a broad and highly visible role, working directly with the Group Finance Director and supporting financial reporting, accounting, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

The role will cover:

1. Financial and management reporting
2. Balance sheet ownership and month/quarter-end processes
3. Audit and statutory reporting
4. Regulatory reporting (FCA/DFSA/CCAF)
5. Cashflow and capital monitoring
6. Business partnering across investment, operations, and compliance

You’ll also play a key role in process improvement and strengthening the control environment.

The ideal candidate:

1. ACA (or equivalent) qualified
2. 3–5 years PQE
3. Exposure to asset management, wealth management, or financial services (preferred)
4. Strong technical accounting knowledge and Excel skills
5. Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
