My client is looking for a Financial Controller for its rapidly expanding and exciting business.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial performance of three Restaurants, two based in the UK and one opening overseas as well as future sites. You will work closely with the senior team ensuring that they find the best route to deliver on all financial aspects of the business reporting directly to the board of Directors.

The Role:
·Overall oversight and management of all operating and monitoring systems used by the restaurant group. Must have experience in Xero.
·Make recommendations on future systems and improvements.
·Work closely with the Procurement Manager and HOD’s to optimise Gross Profit Margins.
·Monitor Scheduling software and Rotas to help HOD’s optimise wage expenditure.
·Approve and control monthly stocktakes.
·Implement stock spot checks and weekly item checks.
·Assist the Procurement Manager in obtaining the best supplier pricing and provide suggestions to HOD’s for maximising profitability in recipes and supplier choices.
·Be the primary contract with the company accountants on any day-to-day queries.
·Primary input and bookkeeping onto the accounting systems. Regulate any integrations.
·Have a comprehensive view on the company current and future cashflow position on a daily basis.
·Provide and monitor budgets for department heads.
·Make timely payments of invoices and payroll
·Lead in conjunction with the directors annual budgeting.
·Provide the Directors with comprehensive and timely management accounts on a monthly basis.
·Provide a weekly overview report of key KPIs for the previous week across all sites.
·Prepare quarterly VAT returns where applicable.

My client is looking for someone with previous multi site restaurant experience who is great at overall finance strategy. This is a day to day very hands on role within the business.
