Job DescriptionFinancial Controller - London - Up to £70k - Hospitality industryA fast-growing Hospitality company based in central London are looking for a commercially focussed Financial Controller.The role requires a hands-on approach with specific responsibilities for cash flow management, holding company accounting and regular internal and statutory reporting. Leading a team of 4, reporting to the Finance Director.Key Responsibilities:Manage present financial performance while improving systems and processTake responsibility and ownership for the implementation of appropriate policies, procedures, and processes to ensure an effective control environmentBudgeting, Re-forecasting, P&L StatementsCreating schedules and core responsibility for monthly management accounts and reconciliations for operating companies, as well as quarterly and year-end reportingChecking correct operations of sites, including revenue and payment allocation, discountsResponsible for information sharing to outsourced payroll companyMonthly and quarterly VAT returns for operating companiesPresenting weekly and monthly reports to the wider team and directorsPreparing weekly reports for investors with comments, any other ad-hoc reportingUpdating board packs for operating companies, including commentary, graphs, summariesSupport with set up of all systems, PMS, POS, Merchants.Support of Operational teams, including Food & Beverage Managers, and approving costing of menu items.Preparing year end file for Auditors for operational companies, providing support and commentaryPreparing any other ad-hoc reports as requested by Management or DirectorsExperience required:Experience leading financial growth in hospitality companiesMentor to your teamAgile and a clear communicator in fast moving environmentsExperienced With Sage, Xero, And Other Accounting Programmes.ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
