Financial Controller FD Designate

This is a hybrid working role with free parking in the centre of Leeds. Ideally a full time role although a part time or a condensed working arrangement will be considered.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing Finances: Oversee the company’s financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Collaborating Across Teams: Partner with department heads, including creative leads and project managers, to provide financial guidance and insights that influence decision-making.
• Driving Financial Strategy: Help shape the agency’s growth strategy by advising on cost-efficiency, profitability, and investment opportunities.
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular financial reports to senior management, including variance analysis and commentary on performance.
• Building Relationships: Work alongside a close-knit, fun, and passionate team, understanding their needs and adding value with your financial acumen.
• Improving Processes: Streamline financial processes and implement best practices that support the business’s creativity and ambition.

What You Bring:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), with solid experience in financial management and control.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage non-finance teams in meaningful financial discussions.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset – you’ll be comfortable taking ownership and driving change.
• An ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment where creativity and strategy meet finance.
• Ideally come from a service indusry where commercial models are created based on time and services
