Financial Controller - Luxury SME

We are currently in the privileged position to be partnering with an exquisite , high end luxury consumer brand (SME) - based at a highly desirable Central London location

Operating across retail, ecommerce and wholesale - the business has had been on an incredible journey to date and continues on an exciting path of growth and investment

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a broad, all-encompassing Financial Controllers position, in which you will operate across the UK and international regions. - You will have the opportunity to take on a role where no two days are the same

Key responsibilities will include the following

Statutory and management accounting

Management of the relationship with the auditors

Tax treasury and oversight of finance operations including AP, AR and credit control

Forecasting, budgeting, planning and associated analysis

Provision of support to senior leadership in respect of finance transformation - systems and process development projects as the business continues to grow

Play a key role as part of ongoing commercial and strategic project work on an ongoing basis - this could be to support non-finance areas; new store openings or further website development

We are seeking those who enjoy working as part of a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Those who are both technically strong as well as commercially astute/ analytical and can clearly see the 'wider business picture'

Applicants must possess the gravitas and confidence to liaise with C suite on a daily basis but also be able to adopt a flexible 'hands-on' approach

Previous experience within the retail ecommerce, wholesale or consumer industries is essential
