Are you a commercially minded Financial Controller with a strong background in retail? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth eCommerce and retail brand based in London as their Number 1 in Finance.

Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing eCommerce and retail business. They are now looking for a Financial Controller to lead and scale their finance function during an exciting period of growth.

As the Financial Controller, you’ll report directly to the MD and take full ownership of the finance function. This is a broad and hands-on role with strategic input, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• Full ownership of month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

• Management of stock accounting and inventory controls

• Business partnering with the leadership team to drive performance

• Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and processes

• Manage cash flow and working capital

• Oversee relationships with external accountants, auditors, and banks

• Build and grow the internal finance team as the business scales

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) (essential)

• Strong experience in a retail or eCommerce environment (essential)

• Proven experience with stock/inventory accounting (essential)

• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills

• Comfortable being hands-on in a growing business

• Previous experience as a Number 1 or looking to step up from a Number 2 role
