Job Description - Financial Crime - Senior Associate

About the Role
Are you ready to take your financial crime expertise to the next level? We are looking for a talented Senior Associate Solicitor to join a leading team specialising in high-profile financial crime, white-collar investigations, and corporate defence.

In this role, you’ll handle complex, high-value cases, advising high-net-worth individuals, professionals, and corporates under scrutiny from the SFO, FCA, HMRC, and NCA. You’ll work alongside senior lawyers on sensitive cases, lead teams, and help shape the future of a growing practice.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage key tasks within complex investigations
  • Advise clients on offences including fraud, money laundering, bribery, corruption, and insider trading
  • Work closely with partners on high-profile, sensitive cases
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
  • Support business development and maintain strong client relationships
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE in financial crime and investigations
  • Proven experience with SFO, FCA, NCA, and HMRC investigations
  • Strong knowledge of the Proceeds of Crime Act, Bribery Act, and related regulations
  • Commercially minded with excellent analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills
  • Confident communicator, able to handle complex matters with discretion
  • Experience mentoring junior lawyers is a plus
