The Role:

As Finance Director, you will work closely with the Founder/CEO to identify and maximise profit and commercial opportunities. You will bring deep strategic oversight and play a key role in driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Leading, developing, and motivating the Founder/CEO to maximize team potential and align objectives with our brand strategy.
Collaborating with Product and Marketing teams to manage real-time trade and produce financial reports.
Deep diving into marketing metrics to understand customer acquisition, retention and LTV.
Working with the Product team to align revenue growth with overall strategic direction.
Managing wholesale revenue streams and the website financials, including global analysis and optimisation.
Ensuring brand cost control and identifying commercial cost opportunities.
Conducting commercial analysis to support trade and business growth.
Leading budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
Leading long-term planning and strategy processes, presenting to the team and Board.
Ensuring trade reporting aligns with management and statutory accounts.

About You:

Must Have Experience:
Worked in disruptive, high growth DTC/eCommerce brands, supporting growth journeys beyond £10m revenue.
Proven commercial and strategic expertise, with a track record of business partnering with Founders/CEOs to drive commercial success.
Experienced and inspiring leader with a track record of motivating, coaching, and developing high performing Finance teams.
Credibility and EQ to manage teams and stakeholders up to Board level.
Resilience and gravitas, performing well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Hands-on leader, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive into detail.
Strong intellect, communication, and negotiation skills.
Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience as a fully qualified Accountant.

Nice To Have Experience:
Worked in an DTC/eCommerce business operating in the US, and bring a strong understanding of the nuances of the US market.
