Job Description - Financial Planner

Financial Planner - Macclesfield, Cheshire
Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 (plus bonus and benefits)
OTE: Significant six-figure potential | Hybrid working | Existing client bank | Strong lead flow

A highly regarded, directly authorised IFA firm in Macclesfield is seeking a capable and personable Financial Planner to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-supported environment with an existing book of loyal clients and a steady stream of high-quality referrals.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for servicing an existing client bank generating approximately £120k-£140k in recurring revenue (around 45 clients, with strong average case sizes), while also converting new leads provided through regular client referrals. The firm’s advice model is centred around cashflow planning, with Voyant used as a core tool in the advice process.

Candidate Profile:
  • Preferably Chartered (or working towards)

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as an IFA

  • Comfortable delivering holistic financial planning

  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, estate planning (including BPR, EIS, VCT)

  • Experience with Voyant (or willingness to learn)

What’s On Offer:
  • Salary of £50k-£75k, depending on experience and client following

  • 33% of total revenue (subject to KPIs and compliance)
