We’re looking for an experienced and relationship-driven Financial Planner to join our growing team at Radiant Financial Planning. You’ll deliver high‑quality financial advice, support clients in achieving their goals, and build long-term, profitable relationships.

This is a hybrid role, and we’re ideally looking for someone based in Barnstaple, with regular travel required.

What You’ll Be Doing

•  Identify, engage and onboard suitable clients through networking and relationship building.


•  Provide proactive, ongoing financial planning advice tailored to clients’ changing circumstances.


• Work closely with paraplanners and support staff to ensure client instructions are completed efficiently.


• Develop new opportunities with existing clients to optimise their portfolios.


• Collaborate with the Financial Education Team where required.


• Build and maintain relationships with professional introducers.


• Liaise with external professionals involved in clients’ financial affairs.


• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through qualifications, CPD and training.

What You’ll Bring

Knowledge & Experience

• Strong background in financial planning.


•  Proven success delivering high-quality client service.


•  Experience within a fee-based financial planning environment.


• Excellent understanding of the full financial planning process.

Qualifications

•  University degree or equivalent industry experience.
   FCA-recognised qualifications.

Skills & Personal Attributes

•  Honesty, integrity and client-focused mindset.


•  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).


•  Strong technical knowledge of current legislation, industry standards and products.


•  Organised, methodical and proactive approach to work.


•  Dynamic, enthusiastic and committed to personal development.


•  Strong relationship-building ability.


•  Confident with IT systems and tech tools
