Financial Planner - £60,000 to £75,000 + Bonus, South West London

A well-established, independent wealth planning firm based in Putney, South West London is looking for a Financial Planner to join their growing team.

The firm manages over £350 million in client assets across 300 clients, ranging from high-net-worth individuals and professionals to business owners and families. Due to ongoing expansion, they are now recruiting a Financial Planner to take over a client bank worth approximately £30-40 million AUM.

This is a pure servicing role with no new business requirements — perfect for someone who enjoys nurturing long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality, holistic advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of existing clients with £30m-£40m AUM
• Deliver financial planning advice on pensions, investments, tax, and retirement planning
• Provide guidance on more complex planning areas including VCTs and EIS investments
• Work closely with in-house paraplanners and administrators to ensure efficient service delivery
• Use platforms such as AJ Bell, Aviva, and discretionary fund managers (DFMs)

Candidate Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Financial Planner or Financial Adviser
• Experience in an independent financial advice environment is preferred
• Candidates from restricted backgrounds will also be considered
• Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered status
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Familiarity with tools such as Intelligent Office, Xplan, or FE Analytics is a bonus

Package:

• Basic salary between £60,000 and £75,000 (depending on experience)
• Bonus scheme based on performance
