Financial Planning Administrator

Eventus Recruitment Cheshire are seeking a Financial Planning Administrator / Assistant to join a supportive and fast-paced team at a leading financial planning / IFA firm near Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Financial Planning Administrator will have previous experience in a Financial Planning Administration role. Responsibilities for this Financial Planning Administrator job include:

• Assisting independent financial advisers in administering financial plans and investment proposals
• Maintaining, setting up and updating internal client files and records
• Processing account applications, transfers, and other paperwork.
• Servicing existing business ie. Policy surrenders, fund switches, policy changes etc.
• Managing administration tasks on back-office system software
• Prepare paperwork for client meetings ie. Valuations, new business applications, review documentation to clients
• Liaising with product providers and third parties
• Dealing with Letters of Authority
• Adhering to compliance regulations and accurate recording of data
• Liaising with team members to ensure client needs are met effectively and efficiently
• Arranging client meetings
• Managing Emails, incoming and outgoing post and providing general office duties
• Making telephone calls to providers and communicating with clients on the telephone and via email

Person Specification

The incoming Financial Planning Administrator will have strong administrative skills from within an IFA / Financial Planning environment. Additionally, you will be competent with using various industry software packages. You will also have:

• 2 years minimum previous experience working as a Financial Planning Administrator / Assistant
• Experience using Intelligent Office is preferred
• Excellent telephone and communication skills are required
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as a team member
