Financial Planning and Projects

I am currently recruiting for an experienced finance professional to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and project finance within a local authority. The role will be for 6-12 months and will be paying £650 p/day.

Key responsibilities include

Medium-term financial planning and budget management
Financial modelling, forecasting and analysis
Supporting transformation, savings and financial recovery programmes
Developing business cases and options appraisals
Advising senior stakeholders and service directors
Monitoring project finances, risks and benefitsRequirements
Strong local government/public-sector finance experience, excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills, and proven experience delivering financial planning and transformation projects.
