Financial Planning Assistant

The Company: Regionally sized, family-feel type IFA firm looking to add a Financial Planning Assistant to their Wakefield office; taking on a broad job remit across both Administrative Adviser Support and basic Paraplanning work. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a challenging, private wealth advice focused remit that opens up fast-track development into paraplanning and slightly more technical work.

• Office Location: Wakefield
• Working Setup: Hybrid - 3-days office, 2 days WFH

Package: £32-35k base DOE + bonus and full company benefits

The Role: A hybrid role/remit across both admin support and new business processing workloads to basic product research and suitability report writing. Duties include:

• Providing relevant documentation ahead of client meetings
• Obtaining relevant research relating to proposed advice
• Compiling suitability letters based on the advice being given
• Processing new business
• Responding to client queries
• Maintaining client records
• Liaising with Life offices and providers
• Ensuring the administrative requirements are completed for the Client Review Process
• Contribute to new business development and proactively maintain a high level of client service

The Person: You will come hold a wealth management background and ideally bring 2-years’ hands-on, practical Admin Support experience to the table. Suitability report-writing exposure is preferred but not essential. Are you:
