Investigo have partnered with a leading Energy business in seeking a Financial Accountant for a key role within the reporting team. Reporting directly into a Financial Controller, this important role consolidates the accounts and produces performance packs for C-suite stakeholders. This is an ideal role for someone to use their technical expertise within a modern and inclusive environment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage group consolidations for multiple divisions across the business
• Ensure close processes are accurate and timely
• Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders
• Work closely with division leaders and finance partners in ensuring performance packs are accurately reviewed monthly
• Upkeep controls and drive process improvements to deliver best in class controls
• Ad-hoc work across modelling, stress testing with constant push to positively innovate

Key Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) ideally from an audit background
• Working knowledge of preparing or auditing consolidated accounts
• Experience within Energy, Renewables, Sustainability business is desirable but not essential
• Strong technical knowledge in working with complex financial statements ideally for a global organisation
• Confident communicator and able to effectively adapt to finance and non-finance stakeholders
