Financial Reporting Accountant

Group Financial Reporting Accountant (Investment / Insurance) - £55,000 - £75,000 (DOE) + Benefits - Hybrid / Remote (UK)

Sellick Partnership are recruiting a Group Financial Reporting Accountant / Manager, for a fast growing Insurer.

This role will give you significant exposure to senior management, a balance between statutory and investment reporting, with a significant amount of adhoc analytics. You will work closely with senior management to drive continuous improvement to group reporting / audit / stats etc and integrating new organisations to the framework as the business continues to acquire.

The Group Financial Reporting Accountant / Manager will add significant value from day one, whilst being able to enhance your skill set and take on additional responsibility as you grow in to the role. You will be exposed to the group investors, new acquisition integration and system development as the group grows.

Group Financial Reporting Accountant / Manager Role:

• Support the ongoing reporting and monitoring of Liquidity Risk, Market Risk and Financial Reporting Risk
• Lead the reporting of the investment portfolio, including reviewing monthly reconciliations and completing monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Deputise for the leadership team where required
• Production of consolidated group results.
• Oversee and deliver regulatory reporting, including annual Solvency II reporting
• Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant technical and regulatory reporting requirements
• Strong knowledge around accounting standards and rules including Solvency II, UK GAAP financial reporting and taxation.

The Group Financial Reporting Accountant / Manager would suit a first or second time mover ( ACA / ICAEW / ICAS ) with exposure to financial services / investment / insurance with group consolidations experience.
