An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join a respected organisation based in Milton Keynes, offering a competitive salary of £60,000. • Prepare statutory annual financial statements ensuring full compliance with relevant accounting standards such as FRS102 and UK GAAP.
• Assist in compiling comprehensive external reporting packs and quarterly regulatory reports for submission.
• Support new projects within the finance function by participating in testing activities and contributing valuable insights to enhance outcomes.
• Streamline and standardise existing financial processes with a focus on improving overall efficiency across the department.
• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues within the Finance team as well as key contacts throughout the wider organisation.
• Ensure all financial statements produced meet rigorous quality standards and adhere to applicable regulations including UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Collaborate with auditors during statutory account preparation to ensure smooth audit processes and timely completion of deliverables.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial reporting requirements and proactively implement necessary adjustments to internal practices.
