Financial Reporting Manager | PE Backed Professional Services | £60k-£70k+bonus | Hybrid working (3 days in office)

Axon Moore is delighted to be working alongside an exceptional, high-growth organisation that is looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager in a pivotal position in the finance team.
Managing key relationships throughout the business, including direct exposure to PE, this is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a high-calibre and stable senior leadership team that is looking for an individual eager to join an acquisitive environment.
The role will have a reporting focus, liaising closely with the audit partners and PE investors whilst supporting the ongoing growth of the business via acquisitions, gaining hands-on exposure to new systems, defining new processes, and streamlining controls.

We are looking to speak with ACA Managers, or 2nd/3rd time movers continuing their careers in financial reporting in a hybrid working environment (3 days in the office).
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 + bonus Location: West Manchester, with hybrid working available.
Main Duties:
• Take ownership over selected entity accounts and all consolidated accounts in accordance with accounting standards. • Ensure Group statutory filings deadlines are met. • Co-ordinate reporting packs for the year-end audit. • Manage audit timetable and drive efficiencies. • Provide board reports on key accounting developments and the implications for consideration. • Own key stakeholder relationships across the Group, including Auditors and PE Investors. • Preparation of Payment Practices reporting. • Ensure control environment operating effectively. • ONS returns and covenant reporting. • Review cash balances across the group. • Prepare cash flow forecasts. • Preparation of the monthly finance board report. • Preparation of data for Board and data for client tenders and presentations • Technical support to team members. • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timetables are adhered to. • Support users in developing their knowledge of using the system. • Coaching and development of direct reports. • Drive continual improvement in reporting, ensuring management information presented is relevant. • Challenge existing processes and implement improvements. • Ad hoc tasks and projects as required to support business objectives. • Support Tax manager in ensuring all tax paid on time.
Person Specification:
• ACA Qualified Accountant with experience working on large-scale audits. • Advanced Excel skills. • Experience working in a reporting-focused industry role would be preferred. • Experience working in a fast-paced and ever-changing business is essential. • Excellent experience in development processes and controls. • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
