Financial Reporting Manager

Job Description

Executive Network Group are recruiting exclusively for a commodities trading business to help appoint a Financial Reporting Manager to this newly created position.

We are looking for an experienced chartered accountant to join our clients growing team in London.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will provide a chance to co-ordinate and help shape all financial reporting areas and to drive the production of their first annual reporting brochure

Some responsibilities will include:

UK & US statutory accounts
Consolidation of global entities
Taking the lead on technical reporting issues, assessing the impact of new accounting requirements and related accounts disclosures
Co-ordinate production of annual reporting brochure Treasury, Corporate Finance & M&A
Overseas treasury function, lender and investor reporting, treasury management
Assessment and execution of business opportunities and transactions
Financial modelling
Support the CFO and Head of Finance with ad-hoc project
relating to business planning, budgeting and analysis
Supporting the finance team in month end closing and financial analysis
Oversee and improve existing monthly management accounts, commentary and analysis.
Control/drive overhead cost apportionment and intragroup recharges
Co-ordination and management of the annual external audit of the Group companies, being the point of contact and responsible for issue resolution during that time

What we are looking for:

Qualified Chartered accountant, with at least 5 years PQE
Experience with IFRS, UK GAAP & US GAAP
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Experience of preparing consolidated financial statements and audit management
Excellent report writing skills as well as experience in financial modelling
Experience in preparing management accounts and Key performance data
Excellent written and oral communications
Experience using Infor Q&A, Power Bi
Advanced excel skills

Salary - £80-90k + bonus, package
