Job Description - Financial Services Administrator

Financial Services Administrator

A great opportunity to work for one of the leading employers in the area in this specialist role. They offer professional and structured training and development opportunities, genuine career progression and a benefits package which is second to none.

  • Based in Epsom
  • £25,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)
  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
  • Hybrid after probationary period
  • 23 days holiday rising to 27 plus option to buy and sell holiday
  • Free parking

Job specification:

  • Manage complex mortgage processes, including Buy to Let, Transfer of Equity, Interest Only mortgages, and specialised external programs.
  • Oversee mortgage arrears administration, including report preparation, data provision, and legal recovery support.
  • Handle deceased customer accounts, Powers of Attorney, third-party authorisations, and the registration process per guidelines.
  • Fulfil responsibilities as specified in the Company’s Authorities Schedule.
  • Administer centrally managed reports, conduct necessary research, corrections, and manage responses.
  • Draft and issue customer correspondence as needed.
  • Support testing functions, including form preparation, testing, and result review.

Person specification:

  • Experience in administration.
  • Customer service experience, ideally with phone-based interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Effective time management and workload prioritization.
  • Clear and effective communication across all formats.
  • Decision-making capability.
  • Skilled in coaching and training others.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with other departments.
  • Quick learner.
  • Capable of working independently when needed.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, with experience in creating spreadsheets and manipulating data.
