Financial/Management Accountant - Multi-National Retailer

I'm currently partnering with an iconic multi-national retailer looking to hire a Financial Accountant with a commercial edge! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised brand and gain exposure to both financial and commercial responsibilities.

Your new role
Reporting to the FC, you'll be responsible for:

• Carryout month-end responsibilities
• Financial reporting - ensuring accurate & timely management reporting
• Analyse the cost lines in the P&L and conduct P&L reviews
• P&Land Balance Sheet responsibility including analysis, journals andreconciliations
• Assistin budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Createinsights into costs and performance
• Process improvement
• Trackingproject costs and performance
• Aid in business decision-making
• Assisting with year-end audit deliverables
• Cross-functional collaboration with finance & non-finance teams
• Adhoc project

What you'll need to succeed
The client is open to two profiles of Newly Qualified/Finalist level accountants:
1- Finalist/Newly Qualified ACA- straight from practice (any size), with strong UK GAAP knowledge and experience working with multi-national clients
2- Finalist/Newly Qualified ACCA/CIMA - trained in industry, ideally with retail or multi-national experience.
