Our client, a highly regarded secondary school in Merton, is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join their thriving department starting in September 2024. This full-time, permanent position offers an exceptional opportunity for a qualified and experienced Music professional to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging and innovative Music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.


• Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all students.


• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.


• Contribute to the ongoing development of the school's Music curriculum.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the Music department and across the wider school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.


• Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level.


• A strong understanding of the current UK Music curriculum.


• A commitment to fostering a love of Music in students of all abilities.
