Finishing Technician

CNC Finishing Technician - Weybridge - £27k-£32

I’m working with a specialist precision engineering business that is looking for an experienced CNC Finishing Technician to join their Machine Shop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on finishing experience who takes real pride in producing high-quality, precision components.

The role:

+ Hand deburring and precision finishing of CNC-machined components.
+ Removing burrs, sharp edges and machining marks to both cosmetic and functional standards.
+ Finishing tight-tolerance, high-value and customer-critical components.
+ Operating rumbling/vibratory finishing equipment where required.
+ Using a range of hand and powered tools including files, stones, scrapers, emery, Scotch-Brite, pencil and die grinders.
+ Preparing components for anodising, coating, plating and assembly.

Minimum role requirements:

+ Proven experience as a Deburr Operator, Precision Finishing Technician or similar.
+ Strong experience in high-end cosmetic and functional finishing.
+ Experience working with materials such as copper, aluminium, stainless steel, titanium and aerospace-grade alloys.
+ Knowledge of rumbling/vibratory finishing processes.
+ Ability to work to tight tolerances without affecting critical dimensions.
