V7 are hiring for a
Fire Alarm Design Engineer/Surveyor
to join a highly reputable organisation in the
Nottinghamshire
area.
The role involves:
- Assisting with third-party inspection audits and related documentation
- Providing technical support to internal staff and external customers
- Conducting site surveys and preparing proposals for customers
- Consistently delivering premium service to customers
- Adhering to Health and Safety practices at all times
- Supporting design compliance through back-office tasks, site surveys, and visits
- Attending site and customer meetings to discuss fire alarm compliance and system options
- Advising on non-compliance issues and issuing technical bulletins
Key experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working to BAFE SP203-1 standards
- Good working knowledge of relevant British Standards, regulations, and legislation
- A team player with ambition, willing to learn new technologies and procedures
- Ideally several years of experience at the engineer level, with some supervisory and customer liaison experience
- Proficient in IT and Microsoft software
- Ideally trained in GENT systems

- Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Permanent)
