Fire Alarm Engineer

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their growing business based in Staplehurst, Kent.

The role entails:

• Visiting client premises in order to service, repair, commission and provide reactive maintenance for fire detection and fire alarm systems
• Ensuring that all systems are working correctly and meet standards
• Maintaining and servicing emergency lighting systems and other safety systems
• Providing advice if appropriate of other services that the firm provides
• Participating in a company call out rota

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• At least one years' experience maintaining and repairing fire alarm systems
• Experience working with various Fire Suppression Systems.
• FIA is desirable but not essential, as our client are happy to provide training.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Other details:

• The basic salary for this role is £30,000 per annum.
• The hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
• Overtime is available.
• The company will provide a company van along with a fuel card.
• Our client will offer training and development.
