Fire Alarm Engineer

We are seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves travelling between sites based in either Sheffield or Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing fire safety equipment.

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on fire alarm equipment, including panels and break glasses.
• Service emergency lighting systems across various sites.
• Ensure all fire safety equipment meets the required safety standards and regulations.
• Travel between multiple sites to perform scheduled services and emergency repairs.
• Document and report on completed services and any issues encountered.
• Work closely with the residential builder's management to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

• At least 10 years proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and related security equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage travel schedule effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications in fire safety and security systems are preferred.
