Due to continued expansion and increasing demand for high quality fire safety solutions, the company is seeking a dedicated Fire Alarm Install Engineer who is experienced in the installation and servicing of fire alarm systems. The successful Fire Alarm Engineer will play a key role in delivering professional fire safety services across a range of commercial and industrial environments. This Fire Alarm Install Engineer position involves installing, servicing and fault finding on fire alarm systems while ensuring all work meets local and national fire safety regulations. This role would suit an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer who takes pride in high quality workmanship, values customer trust and reliability, and is comfortable travelling to different sites when required. As a Fire Alarm Install Engineer, you will work with modern systems and equipment while being supported by a business that values professionalism, safety and ongoing development. Key responsibilities • Installation, servicing, fault finding and commissioning of fire alarm systems • Responding to service calls relating to fire alarm systems and associated equipment • Supporting work on emergency lighting and fire safety equipment where required • Participating in an on call rota when scheduled • Carrying out diagnostics and fault finding on fire alarm systems • Completing job reports and service documentation accurately and on time • Maintaining a professional appearance and representing the business positively on site • Managing vehicle stock levels and ensuring company vehicle is maintained appropriately Skills and experience required Essential • Proven experience working in a fire and security engineering role • Strong experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer or similar fire alarm engineering role • Skilled in fire alarm installation, maintenance and repair • Relevant industry qualifications related to fire alarm systems • Willingness to travel to client sites when required • Full UK driving licence Desirable • Experience working with a variety of fire alarm systems and equipment • Previous experience working across commercial or industrial sites What is on offer • Company vehicle for business and private use • Phone, laptop and iPad provided • Paid travel time • Pension scheme • Private healthcare • 31 days holiday including your birthday off • Overtime opportunities • Clear progression and career development opportunities How to apply If you are an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking for a new opportunity where your skills will be valued, we would be pleased to hear from you.
