Specialising in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire alarm systems, they serve a diverse range of clients across the North West, ensuring safety and compliance in every project. Benefits – Fire Alarm Engineer • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 • Overtime paid at double time • Travel time paid after 15 miles • Company vehicle provided • 28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays) • Pension scheme • On-going training and development • Additional allowances for out-of-hours callouts Responsibilities – Fire Alarm Engineer As a Fire Alarm Engineer, your role will include: • Installing, maintaining, and commissioning fire alarm systems such as Advanced, C-Tec, Protec, and Gent • Conducting emergency lighting maintenance and installation • Ensuring compliance with BS5839-1, BS5839-6, and BS5266 standards • Participating in the on-call standby rota (currently 1 week in 5) • Providing effective problem-solving and decision-making in the field • Communicating effectively with clients and team members • Maintaining a high standard of work with attention to detail Requirements – Fire Alarm Engineer • Minimum 3 years of experience in fire alarm maintenance/installation/commissioning • Full UK driving licence (clean) • Good working knowledge of BS5839-1, BS5839-6, BS5266 • FIA qualifications (FIA Units or Foundation route) • Electrical Level 3 technical and vocational qualification • BAFE Fire Extinguisher Technician Diploma (preferred) • Ability to pass a DBS check • Strong leadership and teamwork qualities • Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills • Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic • Good attendance record Why Join? • Work with a reputable company known for its excellence in fire safety • Excellent career progression opportunities • Competitive earning potential with overtime and additional allowances • Supportive team culture and professional environment • Stable and growing company with a strong client base Apply Now!
