Fire Alarm Engineer – Retail Installations & Commissioning
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Van & Fuel Card (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a growing team, working on retail projects nationwide.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer who has a strong background in fire alarm installation and commissioning, looking for a long-term career with a company that offers progression and stability.

The Role:

* Installation, commissioning and servicing of fire alarm systems across retail environments

* Working on large-scale retail projects nationwide

* Completing installation, testing and commissioning works to a high standard

* Fault finding and ensuring systems are compliant with current regulations

* Working independently and alongside project teams

* Travelling to sites and staying away when required

The Ideal Candidate:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience within the fire alarm industry

* Strong background in retail installations

* Experience with fire alarm installation and commissioning is essential

* Must hold relevant fire alarm qualifications including FIA, FireQual or equivalent

* Full UK driving licence

* Flexible to travel and lodge away from home when required

* Strong communication skills and a professional approach

Desirable:

* SMSTS qualification would be a bonus

* Experience working on large commercial/retail projects

Package:

* Salary £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

* Company van

* Fuel card

* 40-hour working week

* Time and third paid after basic hours

* Saturday work paid at time and a half

* Sunday work available and paid accordingly

* Lodging and travel covered when required
