An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, testing and repairing a range of fire alarm and life-safety systems across customer sites.
The role will suit an experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and professionally. Undertake testing, inspection and commissioning of fire alarm equipment. Complete service reports and relevant documentation accurately. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current industry standards and legislation. Liaise professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of any faults or remedial works required. Work independently while maintaining close communication with the wider engineering team. Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times. The Ideal Candidate
The successful Fire Alarm Service Engineer will ideally have:
Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. A good understanding of relevant fire alarm standards and regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule. A full UK driving licence. Relevant industry qualifications or manufacturer training would be advantageous. What is Offered
