A well-established fire & security business is looking to add an experienced Small Works Engineer to its team, covering customer sites across Dorset.

This is a field-based role working on small works, remedial projects, upgrades and panel replacements, with a strong focus on fire alarm systems.

You'll be working across a range of sites including local authority properties, HMOs, flats and residential homes, carrying out works to existing systems and ensuring everything is completed to a high standard.

The Role

Small works and remedial fire alarm projects
Fire alarm servicing and maintenance
Panel swaps and system upgrades
Fault finding and repairs
Working on Advanced, C-Tec and Gent systems
Completing works across Hampshire and Dorset
Liaising with customers and providing a professional service
Completing relevant job sheets and documentation

About You

We're looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer with a strong background in fire alarm servicing and small works.

You'll ideally have experience with:

Advanced, C-Tec and/or Gent fire alarm systems
Fire alarm servicing and fault finding
Panel replacements and remedial works
Working independently on customer sites
Residential, HMO, flats or local authority environmentsCommissioning experience is not required for this position.

A full UK driving licence is required.

Package

£35,000-£45,000, depending on experience
Permanent contract
