Guide Security Services is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Service & Installation Engineer to join our growing team. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality installations, servicing, and maintenance across a range of fire and security systems, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, service, and maintain Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control systems.
Diagnose faults and attend emergency call-outs.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
Complete installations ranging from small upgrades to large-scale projects.
Produce accurate electronic job sheets, service reports and timesheets.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Identify opportunities for additional works where appropriate.
Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and current British Standards.
Attend training courses and company meetings to develop your skills.

Requirements

2–5 years' experience within the Fire & Security industry.
Proven experience installing, servicing and commissioning Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Good knowledge of relevant BS & EN standards.
Experience with manufacturers such as Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Axis, Samsung, Morley, Advanced and Kentec is desirable.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good IT skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
A professional, reliable and positive attitude.
