I’m working with a growing, well-established business that is expanding across the North West and actively looking to bring in experienced engineers who want stability, variety and to be properly rewarded for their skillset. Why This Role Stands Out Up to £45,000 basic salary depending on experience Local North West patch – no excessive travel Overtime paid at time and a half Structured call-out rota (1 in 6–7 weeks) £100 standby £30 per call attended Company vehicle, fuel card, tools & tech provided 25 days holiday + bank holidays Ongoing manufacturer & FIA training Clear progression opportunities within a growing business The Role You’ll be working across a well-managed local patch, delivering high-quality service and maintenance across commercial and public sector sites. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for: Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems Testing and maintaining emergency lighting Working on intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems Fault finding and carrying out reactive repairs Completing PPM visits and compliance checks Delivering a professional service to clients Travel & Hours 40 hours per week (8am – 5pm) First 30 mins each way unpaid, rest paid Local coverage across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire & Cheshire What You’ll Need Experience in Fire & Security service/maintenance Strong fault-finding ability Experience across multiple systems (Fire, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, EML) Full UK driving licence The Opportunity This is a chance to join a business that is growing, investing and building a strong engineering team.
