Fire Compliance Tester

Construkt RS are working with a well established Fire and Security provider who have a fantatsic reputaion in the industry.

They are now seeking a Fire compliance engineer to join there team, you dont have to have experience but some knowledge on fire and have a great attitude to learn as no day will be the same and you will be provided with traing and development daily.

Salary: up to £27k basic

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Fire Compliance Tester to join our client's growing team, carrying out fire safety inspections, testing and compliance checks across a range of commercial and residential properties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring fire safety systems are fully operational, compliant with relevant British Standards and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine fire alarm testing, inspections and compliance checks.

Inspect and test fire detection and alarm systems.

Complete fire door inspections and identify defects where required.

*

Test emergency lighting systems and associated equipment.

*

Inspect fire safety equipment, including extinguishers and other passive fire protection measures where trained.

*

Identify faults, defects and non-compliance issues, recommending remedial works.

*

Complete detailed inspection reports and compliance documentation.

*

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant British Standards and fire safety regulations.

Liaise with clients and building managers to provide updates on inspection findings.

*

Training and development will be provided.
