Job Title: Fire Design Estimator
Location: South-East (Remote)
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance + 25 days holiday
Are you a Fire Design Estimator based in the South-East looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire Design Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate estimates and technical designs for fire alarm projects, working across a range of commercial, residential, and industrial sites throughout the South-East. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Estimating and quoting on fire alarm projects up to £1,000,000 in individual value.
* Creating and amending CAD drawings to support project designs and client submissions.
* Conducting site surveys across the South-East to gather accurate information for estimates.
* Managing client expectations and building strong, long-term relationships with key contacts.
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth project handover and business continuity.
* Reviewing project specifications and tender documentation to produce competitive, compliant bids.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience in a Fire Design Engineer or Fire Design Estimator role.
* Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems, including design and estimation.
* Experience creating and amending CAD drawings in a fire or security environment.
* Familiarity with Gent fire alarm systems or equivalent market-leading products.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role involves site surveys across the South-East.
* FIA (Fire Industry Association) qualification (desirable).
