Fire Door Carpenter / FRA Carpenter – London

£220 per day | 8:00am–4:00pm | Long-Term Contract

Construkt RS are currently recruiting experienced Fire Door / FRA Carpenters for a large housing association contract covering locations across London and inside the M25.

This is a substantial fire-door installation programme involving the installation and remedial works of fire doors across residential properties.

Candidates based in East London, South East London, Kent and surrounding areas would be particularly suitable, as materials and doors may need to be collected from the client's depot in West Malling.

Duties will include:

Installation of fire doors and complete doorsets

*

Installation/replacement of door frames

*

Fitting hinges, closers and associated ironmongery

*

Installation of intumescent strips and smoke seals

*

Fire-door adjustments and remedial works

*

Ensuring installations are completed to the required fire-door specification

*

Working within occupied residential and housing association properties

Requirements:

*

Previous fire-door installation experience

*

Strong carpentry/joinery background

*

Experience completing full fire-door installations and/or remedials

*

Own tools

*

Ability to travel between sites

*

Relevant CSCS/trade qualifications preferred

*

BM TRADA, FIRAS or other relevant fire-door/passive-fire accreditation beneficial

Hours: 8:00am–4:00pm
Rate: £220 per day
Location: London / Inside M25
