Location: Midlands & surrounding areas
Rate: £28 per hour CIS
Hours: 10 hours per day, Monday-Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months + (Ongoing)

The Role:

Shorterm Group are currently recruiting for experienced Fire Door Carpenters to work on an ongoing project across the Midlands and surrounding areas.

We are looking for skilled carpenters with specific experience in fire door repair, replacement and installation. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for consistent, ongoing work with the potential to work across multiple sites.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Repairing and replacing fire doors
Installing and fitting fire doors to the required specification
Carrying out remedial works and adjustments
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
Working safely and in line with site requirements
Travelling to different sites across the Midlands and surrounding areas

What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Fire Door Carpenter
Previous experience repairing and replacing fire doors
Good knowledge of fire door installation and requirements
Strong carpentry skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and professional approach
CSCS or relevant site qualifications are advantageous

Rates & Benefits:
£28 per hour CIS
£120 per night digs allowance when working more than 50 miles from your home address
45p per mile mileage for travel after the first 15 miles from home
10-hour days, Monday-Friday
Ongoing work
Immediate starts available
Fire Door Installation course

DBS checks will be required if successful for the role.
