Fire Door Specialists Ltd is expanding, and we ’ re looking for a multi - skilled Fire Door Inspector & Maintenance Engineer who wants a career with purpose, progression, and serious impact. What You’ll Do • Carry out fire door inspections across commercial, residential, and public - sector sites • Complete maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and replacements to ensure full compliance • Produce clear, accurate inspection reports using digital tools • Advise clients on compliance, remedial actions, and best - practice solutions • Represent Fire Door Specialists Ltd with professionalism, confidence, and technical authority • Work independently across the UK with full support from our expert team What You Bring • Experience in fire door inspection, carpentry, joinery, or passive fire protection • Strong understanding of BS 8214, BM TRADA, and fire door compliance standards – training can be provided • Ability to diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and deliver high - quality workmanship • Excellent communication and customer - facing skills • A proactive, problem - solving mindset • FDIS qualification is highly desirable (but not essential for the right candidate) • Full UK driving licence What You Get • £38,000 starting salary, rising to £40,000 after 6 months based on performance • Company van, fuel card, tools, uniform, and equipment • Training, development, and progression within The Ranger Group • A role where your work genuinely protects lives and property • Supportive team culture with a growing national reputation • Fully expensed van + mobile phone + laptop • Tools and PPE provided • Private health insurance & life insurance • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (and you can buy more) • Paid training & relevant courses Why This Job Matters Fire doors save lives.
