We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Protection Construction Manager to oversee fire protection and life safety installations on a major construction project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with strong experience across sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire pumps and life safety systems, with a proven track record of managing installation quality, testing and commissioning.
The Role
As Fire Protection Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing fire protection installation activities on site, ensuring all works are delivered to the required quality, safety and regulatory standards.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and overseeing fire protection construction activities on site.
*
Supervising installations involving sprinkler systems, hydrants and fire pumps.
*
Overseeing life safety installations and ensuring they are installed correctly.
*
Managing and coordinating contractors and site teams.
*
Supporting and overseeing testing and commissioning activities.
*
Carrying out detailed field inspections to verify installation quality.
*
Identifying defects, non-conformances and installation issues and ensuring they are rectified.
*
Ensuring installations comply with relevant codes, standards, approved designs and project requirements.
*
Reviewing installation works and documentation to ensure compliance throughout the project.
*
Working closely with contractors, engineers and other project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
The successful Fire Protection Construction Manager will have:

Proven experience managing fire protection systems within a construction environment.
*
Strong experience with sprinkler systems, hydrants and fire pumps.
*
Experience with life safety installations.
*
Strong understanding of testing and commissioning.
*
Good knowledge of relevant fire protection regulations, codes and compliance requirements.
*
Extensive field inspection and quality control experience.
*
Ability to verify installation quality and ensure works comply with approved designs and applicable codes.
*
Strong contractor and site management experience.
*
Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
