Are you an experienced Fire Pump Engineer looking for your next challenge? Our client is a well-established and respected specialist within the power generation sector, providing the installation, servicing and maintenance of critical fire pump systems across a wide range of commercial and industrial sites. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Fire Pump Engineer to cover London and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Fire Pump Engineer, you'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of diesel-driven fire pump systems, ensuring customers' life safety equipment remains fully operational and compliant.

Your responsibilities will include:

Servicing and maintaining diesel-driven fire pump systems.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
Testing pumps, engines and control panels to ensure reliable operation.
Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records.
Delivering a professional and customer-focused service across commercial and industrial sites throughout London and the surrounding areas.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire pump systems.
Good knowledge of diesel engines.
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
CSCS Card.Desirable:

Electrical qualifications or experience diagnosing electrical faults.
Experience working on fire pump control panels and associated equipment.
Engineers with experience on diesel-driven pump systems or similar critical pumping equipment will also be considered.
