SLR Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Stopping Installer to join our client on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering passive fire protection solutions on major infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects across the UK.

The Role
Working as part of a specialist installation team, you’ll be responsible for installing fire stopping systems on a variety of major projects across the UK.
Reporting to the Installation Manager, you’ll ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
The current project is based in Norwich, however the role will involve travel to projects across the UK, with accommodation and subsistence provided when working away.
Key Responsibilities
* Install fire stopping systems in line with manufacturer specifications and project drawings.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
* Follow site RAMS and maintain excellent health and safety practices.
* Record installation details and complete project documentation.
* Assist with quality inspections and photographic records.
* Manage materials responsibly and report any shortages or issues.
* Work closely with supervisors, site management and other trades.
* Maintain a tidy and organised work area.
* Travel to projects across the UK as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous fire stopping installation experience.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Good understanding of health and safety within construction environments.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
* Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team.
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Desirable Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fire Stopping.
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* CSCS Card.
* Experience on major infrastructure or energy projects.
* Knowledge of IFC, Kiwa or similar certification schemes.
* Experience using digital QA systems such as OneTrace.
