Due to continued success and ambitious growth plans, my client are looking to recruit several Fire Service Engineers to join their expanding team, covering London and East Anglia.

About the Role
As a Fire Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and minor commissioning of a wide range of fire alarm and life safety systems at client sites. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure systems are fully functional, compliant, and operating to the highest standards of safety.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with current British Standards and client requirements.
Identify faults and carry out minor repairs, replacements or upgrades as needed.
Complete all relevant documentation and service reports accurately and promptly.
Liaise professionally with clients, providing clear updates and technical support where necessary.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation, company procedures, and industry best practices.
Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as required.

Requirements
Essential
Minimum of 3 years’ experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems (GENT, Notifier, Advanced, Kentec, Morley or similar)
Good working knowledge of BS5839 standards and relevant regulations
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Desirable
BAFE certification or equivalent industry qualifications
FIA units or certifications (such as Design, Maintenance, or Installation modules)
Experience working in commercial, industrial, or high-security environments
ECS/CSCS card
Experience with emergency lighting or other life safety systems is a plus
